Solar Eclipse May 2012

I had a great view of the eclipse from my backyard.

I used my husband's welding helmet for protection.

We couldn't see the ring of fire, unfortunately.

But what a thrill it was to get these photos!

I had to show you a pic of the welding helmet.

I know this isn't very festive, this cemetery really spoke to me.

I was there last week and the fog was just so beautiful.

I haven't had much time for any photography other than school stuff with the kids lately.

I miss being out in nature with my camera.

Hoping I can get to it soon.

The weather here has been clear and sunny.

Not very December-like.

Not complaining, though!

Darkness has fallen, the moon is up.

The candles are aglow.

My spellbook is open.

My potions are right.

And the wind is ready to blow!

With whipping wind and witch's light,

I am ready to go!
